Mike Wicks

Mike Wicks has 15-years’ experience counselling businesses and developing and delivering business training. As Small Business Manager of the Greater Victoria Economic Development Commission, Mike acted as a business advisor to businesses throughout Greater Victoria for over two years.

He is a certified trainer of the University of Phoenix Small Business Certificate delivered through Chambers of Commerce across Canada.

He was General Manager of the Jim Reger Creating Results training company, managing the company and its roster of trainers; he also developed and facilitated many of the company’s programs.

In the last 15 years he has trained, coached and counselled in excess of 2,000 businesses from small family-owned enterprises to international banks.

Before immigrating to Canada in 1992, Mike was a divisional head of Random House UK, a multinational publishing house, and subsequently Managing Director of the international specialist publishing house Rowan Publishing Ltd.
