Ingrid Vaughan
Ingrid has been a freelance writer, trainer and business consultant for over fifteen years. She has experience in both creative and business writing and has enjoyed success as a public speaker, facilitator and trainer. She is a strong communicator and offers strengths in the areas of personal and team development, effective communication, stress management, conflict management and management skills. She has worked extensively in the non-profit sector, as well as for small and medium-sized businesses.
For a number of years, Ingrid worked as a contract trainer for Fred Pryor/CareerTrack where she effectively delivered business programs across Canada and the United States. During this time she substantially increased her knowledge and understanding of the issues both managers and employees face in the workplace. This experience inspired her to begin developing and delivering her own business programs. She has recently developed training programs for Curves for Women, several local church organizations, Island Pastoral Services Association, Douglas College (Vancouver) and the Sooke School District.
She has recently authored a book titled I’m a Circle - You’re a Square! - the Art of Understanding Others and Improving Communication, based on the material in her training program of the same name.
Ingrid has experienced business from both a management and employee perspective, and is keenly aware of the challenges faced by both. Her programs are innovative and practical and provide real-life solutions to every day problems.

Testimonials
"All of the staff who attended Ingrid’s Congratulations You're a Supervisor workshop were very happy with the program. Participants provided such positive feedback about the first workshop, it prompted us to offer a second, follow up session. We intend to run this program again as many employees have requested the opportunity to take the workshop after hearing about the success of the first series. We intend to make this a requirement for all of our entry level supervisory positions in the future."
- Delcy Wells, Director of Human Resources, School District No. 62 (Sooke)
"The workbook was excellent, and I appreciated having something to take home with me so I could refer to it again and again. I found it particularly valuable to realize that I always have choices when I face stressful situations, and have even taught my husband those tools which he has been able to use in his own business. Thank you for an insightful, thought-provoking seminar!"

"I attend a lot of seminars, and Ingrid is one of the most fun and dynamic trainers I’ve ever experienced. She presents the material from a knowledgeable perspective in a way that’s fun for all the participants. She is able to balance professional presentation with personal interaction, and addresses the concerns of participants insightfully, in a way that benefits everyone. My staff have benefited greatly from the training we received, and we plan to continue using Ingrid for our professional development activities in the future."
